Busy Bee
Wow, I haven't blogged in over a week, and I'm so behind on reading blogs. It's been an extremely busy week and it unfortunately will continue until my presentation in my Capstone class is over on Wednesday. Just wanted to say I'm still alive and I will be back to blogging soon, but for now, school is taking over my life! Have a great weekend!!!

Show Us Your Life--ALMA MATER
UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI (aka MIZZOU)
I'm linking up with Kelly's Korner for Show Us Your Life--Alma Maters. So, technically this isn't my alma mater yet because I won't graduate until May, but I can't pass up an opportunity to show off my wonderful university. I come from a long line of University of Missouri fans! Both my parents went to school here as well as most of my aunts and uncles and several cousins. I grew up being a Tiger fan and knew this is where I'd always want to go. Once I knew I wanted to major in accounting and the Mizzou Accountancy School was ranked #14 in the nation, it was confirmed the University of Missouri was the right place for me! I have loved every minute of it! I'm going to be so sad to leave in May, but I plan to be a Mizzou Tiger for life and will return often for football and basketball games, and hopefully be an active alumni to the Business and Accountancy Schools.
Here are some pictures to give you a little tour of Mizzou! M-I-Z...Z-O-U!!!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday
It's time to link up with Jamie again for "WILW"
I'm LOVING that it is 60 degrees outside today...in February! I hope the rest of the winter will be like this!
I'm LOVING that I have gotten back into a consistent workout routine for the semester and am running at least three times a week! Such a great stress reliever!
I'm LOVING Mumford and Sons. I had heard of them prior to the Grammy's, but had never really listened to their music. So good and folksy.
I'm LOVING Justin Bieber! I think I officially have Bieber Fever! His Grammy performance with Usher and Jaden Smith was fantastic. And, how precious were Will and Jada Smith?!? So proud of their son! Almost made me cry!
Hope everyone has a fantastic Wednesday!!!

Another Blog Award!
I'm so excited to have received my second blog award! Thank you so much, Gabriella for passing this award on to me! You're so sweet and I love reading your blog! :)
1. Who/What Inspires You?
My parents. I love my parents so much. I'm so thankful for all the hard work they put in, so I could have a good life. They are such generous people. I talk to them multiple times every day. They give me the best advice and are always supportive. I hope to one day be as good of a parent as they are!
2. What is your favorite season and why?
My favorite season is summer! I love the heat! You will never hear me complain that it's too hot outside. But, fall is a close second! The leaves changing colors, football, crisp air, apple cider make me love fall, too. I do like having all four seasons here in the Midwest...there's something special about each of them. But, I'd be okay with winter being a little shorter! ;)
3. What are you most looking forward to this year?
This year is a big year in my life! I'm looking forward to graduating in May, and then I can't wait to start my full-time job at a Big Four Accounting Firm. I'm ready!
4. If you could write a book about anything, what would it be about?
I would write travel books like Fodor's or something because it would be so fun to travel around and explore different areas! Plus, I'm not creative at all, so a factual book would be easiest for me to write...ha.
5. What is your greatest passion?
Helping people! I think it's important to give back and you get back so much more in return.
6. If you could change one thing about your life or yourself, what would it be?
My eyebrows...I have thick eyebrows and have to consistently wax them or pluck them, and it would be really nice to have thinner eyebrows that are more manageable.
7. Lastly, what is your favorite novel?
I am a huge fan of the Confessions of a Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. There are six books in the series and I've read every single one of them. The books are light, fun reads! I highly recommend them!

What I'm Loving Wednesday
It's Wednesday again, which means I'm linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday! You should join in, too!
I'm LOVING that I am back in my routine without any snow days this week.
I'm LOVING baby carrots marinated with Robusto Italian dressing. It's my greatest new food discovery and I eat it everyday in my lunch. So delicious!
I'm LOVING my new necklace from Hand Made and Lovely!
I'm LOVING that my friend surprised me with a giant Diet Dr. Pepper in our class this morning because she knew I was up late writing a paper. The caffeine was much needed! I love when people do thoughtful things like this for no reason!
I'm LOVING the Kate Spade bangle giveaway at a new blog I'm following! Check it out: Texas Prep
Have a lovely Wednesday!
